Road accessible, this slice of the Bejuco Peninsula near Boca Chica, is about one and a half hours from David, the capital of Chiriqui Province and the third largest city in Panama. Fly into the international Enrique Malek Airport and drive to the front door of this incredible paradise.

The road to the Gem of Punta Bejuco is a gorgeous one, revealing sandy bays on both sides of  the peninsula, and islands in the distance.  The stretch of road from the InterAmericana highway to the home is now 4×4 only, though a budget has been approved to asphalt. The property’s gravel driveway from the road is shared with one neighbor.

The Land

This private point on the Bejuco Peninsula, is 4 hectares and it’s Titled! The point faces true west and enjoys dynamic Pacific sunsets. With ocean bays literally surrounding this property, there is no shortage of beaches for you to explore in walking distance.

The beachfront of the property is protected by neighboring islands and rock formations which keep the water calm.  With long Pacific tides, there is plenty of space to wander and discover the unique characteristics of each bay, some separated by caves and holes in the bluffs. When you have had your fill of mainland beaches you can hop in a boat and explore all that the National Marine Park of Chiriqui has to offer, it’s known for sport fishing, diving and humback whale watching! The bay has deep water and offers refuge to both large boats and a huge variety of fish species.

The property has a private gated access from the dirt road which leads to the off-grid home and outbuildings. The driveway is lined by palm trees and hibiscus, and the garden has mature tropical fruiting trees, citruses, guanabana, guayaba, breadfruit, mango and more.

75 meters from the home site is a gorgeous plateau with excellent elevation, located at the tip of the property’s point. This is the king of all building sites with views down to the separate bays on both sides of the point, and straight forward across the protected harbor to Punta Chucecal and beyond to Volcan Baru and Panama’s continental divide.

The Structures

The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is a functional house with fantastic views of the bay. One hundred meters closer to the ocean is a rancho for shaded seaside relaxation, and closer inspection of all the beach treasures you will collect on your morning strolls. A second rancho has the bones for a guest casita.

The off grid home currently sources its electricity from a generator, but it would be a simple modification to convert this home to a solar system. Fresh water is sourced from a deep well on site.
